Reception have been learning animal names and talking about how they move.
Form 1 students have been studying the differences between plants and animal. They have also looked at some animals in particular; so the trip was a great opportunity for them to see real animals in action and even touch some of them!
The day started with a fabulous show given by Nico the sea lion. He was so funny; he danced, played catch and even gave us kisses!
The children went into the Reptile house which was home to many snakes, spiders, lizards, crocodiles and bats.
Then they looked around the rest of zoo before taking a ride on the train around Maia.
