1st Meeting of Gymnastic Sports The Braga International School, as in previous years, was once again present at the ‘1º Encontro de Desportos Gímnicos’ (1st Meeting of Gymnastic Sports). This event took place throughout the morning of Saturday 31st of January, at the ‘Pavilhão da Escola Secundária Alberto Sampaio’ (Alberto Sampaio Secondary School Pavilion), in Braga. Many students from different schools in the Braga area participated in this event. Various work groups were formed according to the student’s performance level (levels 1, 2 and 3), where both artistic gymnastics (solo, horse and aparelhos) and acrobatics were exhibited. The objectives of the day were to promote socialising and the forging of friendships, as well as developing the performance level of the gymnasts. Back
