This year’s edition saw Forms 5, 6 and 7 recreate and dramatise a typical Roman school. We feel that this was an enriching and rewarding experience for all involved in so many different ways. At an academic level our students had the opportunity to share their knowledge and understanding of Roman culture and civilization with both fellow participants and the visiting public. This was done in a fun and unique environment and it is this that makes the Braga Romana experience so special..

Following the memorable Roman banquet which took place in the CLIB gardens the rest of the school community were also given the opportunity to join many other schools and organisations from Braga and take part in what is unquestionably the highlight of the entire festival. We are of course referring to the Roman parade around the historic centre of Braga.
