| Participating in CLIB’s Summer Programme 2009 will provide children and teens with unforgettable moments. This portion of the Summer holidays, spent with friends, will be enriching, fun and healthy. We cannot forget that all participants on this programme are on HOLIDAY and it is for this reason that we incorporate playful and sporting activities, although it is also true that these are linked to learning about culture, heritage, gastronomy and respect and preservation of nature. Made to Measure programmes Whilst we organise a programme for the whole of July it is also possible to arrange a more personalised programme with different levels of attendance (including attending on occasional days). The cost of each day will be calculated based on the chosen activities for the specific day in question. Proposed activities The programme commences on 1st July (Wednesday) with a camp at school, students will spend the nights of the 1st and 2nd of July sleeping at school.... The second week, 6th to 10th July we have our annual week at the beach. Students on this programme will spend 4 nights at the 4 start Estalagem Parque do Rio in Ofir. From the 15th July students will be able to take advantage of the opportunity to swim at the Vila Verde swimming pools under the guidance of professor Manuel Dantas. We also will provide the opportunity for students to participate ina mini course of horseriding at the Braga Horse Riding Centre, 6 days(2 classes on the first 3 days of the month with the remaining 4 from the 14th July). To fill the rest of the time we will provide the following activities: Canoeing; IT, film and photography, painting, recycling, sport, cooking, study visits, picnics by the river and walks. The programme is open to CLIB students of all ages and their family and friends. This year we will be opening up to groups from other schools. |
