At last, the music started and in marched the poor and hungry orphans, empty bowls in hand! It was a marvellous evening's entertainment.
The students spoke out with wonderful articulation and the narrators told the story of Charles Dickens' “Oliver Twist” in both English and Portuguese.
Their acting skills and singing were worthy of a West End stage and the standing ovation they received during their curtain call was a testament to the work that they had invested into their final presentation as Lower School Students.
