Warm international community

With students from over 50 nationalities, CLIB is a vibrant community where children learn to appreciate different perspectives and build friendships that cross borders. Each child is welcomed, valued, and included. All students have full access to learning, supported by a multidisciplinary team.

English and multilingualism

We teach in English and follow the English National Curriculum to ensure early English proficiency, as well as to prepare students for Cambridge IGCSE and AICE pathways. Alongside this, all students receive Portuguese language instruction, enabling them to develop strong proficiency in Portuguese. Proudly, CLIB students have the abilities and confidence to move between cultures and succeed anywhere in the world.

More than academics

At CLIB, education is more than academics. We nurture curiosity, creativity, empathy, and responsibility. Students engage in meaningful community service, arts, sports, and social development activities that help them grow as confident, ethical young people.

Safety on campus

Accreditations and partnerships

At CLIB, we are dedicated to delivering world-class educational programmes. We uphold rigorous academic standards, employ experienced international educators, and continually meet and exceed international benchmarks.

Our educational project is based on the Cambridge International curriculum, recognised by the Portuguese Ministry of Education. Our educational plans have horizontal equivalence with the Portuguese educational system, culminating in the AICE Diploma (Advanced International Certificate of Education), provided by Cambridge International Education.

CLIB is a registered non-public international school recognised by the Portuguese Ministry of Education.
We meet all required national standards and are authorised to issue school certificates recognised by schools and universities in Portugal and beyond.

Partnership with Bomfim Conservatory

CLIB proudly partners with Bomfim Conservatory, giving our students access to award-winning facilities, and specialist music teaching recognised by the Portuguese Ministry of Education.

Form 4 and Form 6 students learning at Bomfim sit globally recognised music exams offered by Trinity College London, leading to international diplomas in music.
